23 February 2004 – SALT LAKE CITY—Turning Point, Inc. has been selected as the Giant Step Home-Based Business of the Year by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Annually the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce recognizes those companies who excel in the following categories: Small Business of the Year; Entrepreneurial Success; Home-Based Business Success and Community Service Award. Those recognized are judged on business innovation, company staying power, Chamber and Community involvement.

Turning Point is a business development company incorporated in 1994. Along with Vice President, Karen Noel, Kathleen has used her 20 plus years of marketing and promotions experience to help her clients with their marketing and public relations. As a seasoned professional speaker, Kathleen has provided venues for other professional speakers creating a unique way to grow Turning Point's revenue. With the changes brought on by 9-11, Turning Point began to focus more on publishing books and multi-media programs to meet the changing needs of a travel-shy business world. A tireless volunteer and community activist, Kathleen's greatest success lies in the triumphs of her clients.
