Kathleen Gage

 

Described by many as one of the most inspirational speakers alive, Kathleen Gage has a message so compelling she appeals to audiences from all walks of life. Kathleen made choices in her teens and early twenties that took her from a comfortable middleclass upbringing to a life of homelessness and being unemployable. Rising above insurmountable odds Kathleen has become a successful business owner, respected leader in her field and community leader.

 

 

With a deep thirst for inner knowledge, Kathleen traveled throughout the world gaining insights that she willingly shares with others. Living for extended periods of time on the West Bank of Israel and Mexico, overcoming a bout with paralysis at a young age and living through the great quake of 1985 in Mexico City, Kathleen has a unique understanding of the delicate balance of life.

Kathleen has turned her experiences into a successful speaking and business consulting firm. She has owned and operated Turning Point, Inc., since the early nineties and is a past president of the National Speakers Association Utah Chapter.  Kathleen has extensive experience in sales, marketing, management, public relations, events coordination, and promotions. Some of the organizations Kathleen has consulted and presented to are the U.S. Marine Corp, Utah Department of Workforce Services, Roofers Supply, Lockheed Martin, and Hughes Avicom International. Kathleen has been the vice-chair and marketing chair for the Central Region Council for the Department of Workforce Services of Utah since 1999.

For over 20 years Kathleen has been the recipient of numerous business, leadership and community awards including the 1995-1996 and 1999-2000 National Speakers Association Utah Chapter Member of the Year, 1992 GTE Health Systems Employee of the Year and 1987 KMGG Radio Top Performer in sales. Kathleen is the recipient of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce Business Women's Forum Achievement award for 1999-2000, The Leadership and Communications 2000 Award for Toastmasters International and the 2004 Giant Step Award for business excellence.

Kathleen is published in “Chicken Soup for the Prisoner’s Soul” and is the author of inspirational audio tapes including Living Life With Serenity; Confidence and Credibility Through High Self Esteem; and The Power Within Us. Kathleen is the author of  “Workplace Miracles” "Street Smarts Marketing and Promotions" "Street Smarts Internet Marketing" and "101 Ways to Get Your Foot in the Door."

Kathleen’s primary purpose is to assist individuals in developing a willingness to take risks in both personal and professional endeavors and to unleash possibilities to achieve a life rich in spirit, passion, prosperity, self-assurance, and success.
