Proven Strategies to Drive Qualified Traffic to Your WebsiteBy

Each day the number of people who have
a desire to make money on the Internet increases. With most people there
seems to be an endless search for the one answer on how to drive traffic
to their website. Not only drive traffic, but turn those visitors into
buyers.
There are numerous ways
to drive traffic to your site. However, before you can turn your visitors
into buyers, you have to create value for them. There are various ways to
this. One is to be a resource before you are a vendor. Simply put, this
means create credibility with your potential buyers before you ever ask
for the sale.You can do
this by offering something for free from you website.
One of the most cost
effective strategies to drive qualified traffic to your site(s) is
through article writing and distribution to forums, discussion groups and
Ezines. The catch is the forums, groups and Ezines have to be specific to
your market. This means you to have to know who you’re your market is
and is not.
I utilize this strategy
all the time. Depending on the topic of the article I receive as many as
50 -100 sign ups a day to my various lists. Over a period of a month that
can be well over 1,000 new opt-in subscribers.
A second effective
method to drive traffic to my sites is with solo ads in specific
locations. Rarely do I attempt to sell anything in my solo ad. Rather, I
offer a free report or eBook to anyone who visits my site.
One of the most popular
items people download based on solo ad advertising is my free eBook on
how to build visibility on the Internet. The page for the download is
referred to as a "squeeze" page. The sole purpose for this page
is to invite people to sign up for the eBook. Click

Solo ads are very cost
effective and work well when placed in the right publications and sites.
Again, it is based on knowing your market rather than randomly placing an
ad and hoping for a result.
A third effective method
in generating site traffic is to participate in Joint Venture Campaigns.
The benefit to anyone who partners is this type of campaign is they have
the opportunity to gain visibility with a large number of people.
Basically, a bonus
eProduct is offered as an incentive to buy another eProduct, book,
product or service. With this type of campaign each Joint Venture Partner
agrees to send a message to their readers about the campaign. The market
reach is incredible often exceeding millions.
In order to make a
campaign like this successful there is a lot of coordination and backend
work required on the part of whoever is spearheading the project. Make
sure you only participate in JV campaigns with people who have their act
together otherwise you may run into quite a few problems.
I recently participated
in one campaign in which I got over 1,000 (one thousand) sign ups in a
week. The average with most campaigns like this is 100 - 150 in 2 - 3
days. Needless to say, I was incredibly pleased with the campaign where I
received almost ten times the usual sign ups.
Regardless of which
strategy you use to gain opt-in subscribers in order to optimize what you
do it is essential to have your backend marketing systems in place. This
would include having a reliable “smart” autoresponder program. An
autorespond program allows you to automate how and when you keep your
name in front of the people who have shown an interest in your
information. To not do this would be a complete waste of time, money and
energy.
By keeping in touch with
valuable information you are building trust and name recognition with
your market. When you do have something for sale you will have a much
easier time selling those people with whom your name is familiar.
Can you make money on
the Internet? Yes, beyond a shadow of a doubt? Will it take work, thought
and discipline? Most definitely. Is it worth it? Oh, yes!

The

How often do we
intuitively know our purpose and yet, limiting beliefs make our journey
more difficult than necessary? Years ago I had the opportunity to meet a
woman who reinforced my understanding of the power of beliefs. She is
probably one of the most powerful individuals I will ever encounter.
I met Chris in 1986 while
taking the Dale Carnegie course in Santa Rosa, California.Chris showed up during the second week of training. Class was
well under way when she walked into the room. Actually, she didn’t
really walk into the room; she dragged herself in, supported by a pair
of metal crutches. Chris has Cerebral Palsy which she lived with all her
life.
Chris had an extremely
difficult time communicating with others. This was not due to lack of
desire, but because for most of her twenty-one years of life she had
been kept in a room with no more than Elvis records and tapes to
entertain her. No one had taken the time to assist her in developing the
ability to communicate, except Bonnie, her current caretaker. Bonnie
knew there was much more to Chris than anyone ever gave her credit for.
When the instructor asked
Chris what her goal for the course was, she struggled to respond and
became frustrated and angry. Chris had a very short fuse when it came to
frustration because for most of her life no one would listen to her. The
only way she could get someone to listen was through temper tantrums.
We discovered her goal was
to be able to stand, by herself, in front of forty-five people and tell
us about herself. With Bonnie as her interpreter, Chris conveyed this
desire to a room full of business professionals.
To the amazement of everyone in the class, on the
twelfth week, Chris stood in front of the room and shared with us what
life had been like for her. It was one of the most beautiful and
enlightening experiences I have ever witnessed. Here was a woman who in
many ways had been thrown away. Yet she had a determination, commitment
and belief that she could accomplish more in her life and she did.She also had the love and support of forty-five friends, who
weeks before had been complete strangers.
Chris’
courage showed us that life is created moment by moment based on our
beliefs. Beliefs that can empower beyond our wildest dreams.
Our
beliefs are developed on both a conscious and subconscious level. As our
beliefs change, our experiences change. And as our experiences change,
so do our beliefs.
Beliefs
are relevant to both our personal and professional direction. What are
the beliefs that will carry you to places you have yet to explore? What
actions are you willing to take? What is the destiny you are willing to
fulfill, honor and embrace?

a pair and create a commotion! Anything left incomplete creates a
